Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent at Ironbark No.1, the Mechanical Longwall Coordinator primarily focuses on coordinating and planning mechanical maintenance activities, allocating personnel and equipment to activities, and reporting outcomes to achieve production and maintenance targets. All this needs to be achieved whilst complying with safety, production, budgetary and environmental objectives.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the electrical maintenance activities within Longwall Operations to ensure a safe and productive mining environment is maintained.

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality training and conducting assessments for our site workforce, ensuring alignment with both internal policies and external compliance standards. You’ll take a hands-on approach, providing infield coaching and support to maintain strong training standards across the site. This hands-on, operational role is essential to ensuring safe and efficient underground coal mining through precise survey control and data management. Reporting to the Technical Services Superintendent, you will provide critical support to our underground coal operations, delivering accurate survey data, maintaining compliance with statutory requirements, and working closely with operational teams to drive performance and safety.
