Maintenance Fitters
We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunities for Experienced Underground Maintenance Fitters for Fitzroy's new IronBark No.1 Coal Mine. You will be working in either Development, Outbye or Longwall.
ERZ Controller
As a frontline leader, you will be responsible for the day to day functioning and performance of the crew. You will effectively manage people and equipment to carry out planned work activities. This role also has statutory obligations.
Electrician
We currently have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a suitably qualified Experienced Underground Electrical Mineworkers. Reporting to the relevant Electrical Shift Supervisors and EEM, the role will primarily involve working safely and efficiently in a range of electrical engineering, maintenance and breakdown tasks. The role may also involve assisting with some production functions during the shift, depending on the allocated position at the time.ie. Long-wall, Development or Out-bye.
Coordinator – Emergency Response
Forming part of the Outbye Department Compliance Team, the primary purpose of the Coordinator – Emergency Response is to manage and coordinate site emergency response requirements including undertaking inspections, facilitating resources, implementing processes to ensure compliance and capability for both surface and underground operations. The role will also include development and delivery of emergency response exercises.
Control Room Operator
Forming part of the Outbye Department, the primary purpose of the Control Room Operator is to manage and control the shift underground communication and monitoring strategies to enable safe and efficient operations to occur. The position also provides the focal point for communication within the mine from a production and safety perspective. The Control Room Operator is the person appointed to be authorised by the underground mine manager to acknowledge gas alarms, as well as fulfil the duties as required by the relevant Emergency Response duty card; this specifies that the position provides the communication / recording function during a significant incident.
