Fitzroy is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Payroll Superintendent to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll function for approximately 800 award and salaried staff across multiple mining sites and group functions. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all employees are paid accurately and on time, in full compliance with relevant legislation, industrial instruments, and company policies.

Forming part of the Compliance Team at Ironbark No. 1 Mine, the primary purpose of the Emergency Response Coordinator is to manage and coordinate site emergency response requirements including undertaking inspections, facilitating resources, implementing processes to ensure compliance and capability for both surface and underground operations. The role will also include development and delivery of emergency response exercises.

We are seeking experienced Underground Mechanical Fitters to join our team at Fitzroy’s Carborough Downs and Ironbark No.1 mine sites. You will work in either Development, Outbye, or Bord & Pillar areas.

As a frontline leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning and performance of the crew. You will effectively manage people and equipment to carry out planned work activities. This role also has statutory obligations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent at Ironbark No.1, the Mechanical Longwall Coordinator primarily focuses on coordinating and planning mechanical maintenance activities, allocating personnel and equipment to activities, and reporting outcomes to achieve production and maintenance targets. All this needs to be achieved whilst complying with safety, production, budgetary and environmental objectives.

Reporting to the Mechanical Superintendent at Ironbark No.1, the Mechanical Outbye Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance and establishment of the underground infrastructure.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the electrical maintenance activities within Longwall Operations to ensure a safe and productive mining environment is maintained.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the electrical maintenance activities within Development Operations to ensure a safe and productive mining environment is maintained.

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Open Cut Examiner/Supervisors to join our team at Broadlea Mine. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring statutory compliance and to provide leadership and direction to the mining crew. This role requires someone with strong leadership, safety awareness, and environmental stewardship to support the success of open-cut operations.

The Human Resources (HR) Superintendent will lead and oversee all HR functions for Fitzroy Australia Resources the soon to be commissioned (March 2025), Ironbark No1 underground coal mine operation in Queensland.

This role is based at Ironbark No.1, located within the Bowen Basin, and presents a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new mine development. We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Geologists to join our dedicated Technical Services Team.
