The Health, Safety & Training Coordinator is a key member of the HSRT Department who will focus on the training requirements at our Surface Operations, Broadlea open cut mine and our centralised CHPP. Your key responsibilities will include implementing respective site Training Plans and managing the development of the online/offline assessment tools to support those plans. You will also provide specialist expert advice on best-practice, effective adult learning, meeting legislated training requirements, the development of the training needs analysis for site/s and you will work to proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities to the training systems.

Reporting to the Maintenance and Engineering Manager, the Overhauls Engineer will design, implement and oversee asset overhaul projects and maintenance at Carborough Downs underground mine. By developing a thorough understanding of the operating assets, you will deliver a detailed plan to execute the overall asset program. You will also be responsible for developing a 5-year asset budget for the assets on site. Working collaboratively with your maintenance and engineering colleagues, you will engage with relevant OEMs to develop and improve the assets to support the continual improvement of all operations at Carborough Downs.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, the Senior Recruitment Advisor will oversee the development and implementation of an effective and efficient high volume shared service recruitment function for blue collar and staff roles through effective use of technology and best practice recruitment methodologies. Your portfolio will include two underground mines, a small open-cut mine and a process plant (CHPP) located in the Moranbah region as well as Brisbane based corporate support functions. You will work in close collaboration with an enthusiastic and passionate team of HR professionals to deliver high-quality recruitment service, supporting the growth and success of an organisation with an exciting future. This role is based in the Brisbane corporate office and will require occasional travel to our sites in the Bowen Basin.

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, as a CHPP Technician you will be an experienced and qualified operator maintainer who assists with the daily operations of the CHPP and ancillary equipment in a safe and productive manner. This includes but not limited to operations the CHPP and associated fixed infrastructure Train Loading, operating Heavy Mobile Equipment, coal analysis, diagnostic of faults and assisting with maintenance inspections servicing and repairs of plant and equipment.

Reporting to the CHPP Production Superintendent, as Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and productive operation of the CHPP, its employees, contractors and ancillary equipment. This is a frontline leadership role where you will drive and mentor your crew to achieve shift targets and maintain their process plant knowledge, skills and relevant competencies to ensure CHPP operational reliability in a consistently safe work environment. You will be responsible for maintaining plant key performance indications, investigate and improve the CHPP performance of each unit operation including raw coal, flotation and dewatering circuits, rejects and stockpile management.

As a frontline leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day functioning and performance of the crew. You will effectively manage people and equipment to carry out planned work activities. This role also has statutory obligations.

Reporting to the SSE, the Senior Health, Safety & Training (HST) Advisor will play a critical role in the development and rejuvenation of Fitzroy’s Broadlea mine. Working in conjunction with your leadership team and supported by your functional peers, you will be the single point of contact for all HST activities at the Broadlea open cut mine. Your proven experience will support you in providing HST guidance and leadership to your internal stakeholders enabling the operation to meet its production goals. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of Broadlea’s site Safety, Health and Training systems and provide support to your team and contractor peers in best practice application.

You will be reporting to the ERZ Controller and be responsible to work towards production targets safely and support efficiencies in all associated functions whilst undertaking relevant tasks. We currently have vacancies at Carborough Downs in Bord & Pillar and Ironbark No.1 in Development.
